Karen and Mark are country style folk stuck in the city, so when they got engaged and it came time for engagement photos they wanted to get as far away from the city as possible. So we went to some horse stables for fun rustic country photos. Then we went over to the woods, and lastly could not pass up a walk on the beach. Each couple has a unique story and personality, they brought along some fun items to use toward the end of the shoot, some hunting hats, cowboys boots and some cowboy and cowgirl signs, what a sweet couple they are!

Tony had proposed to his college sweetheart Megan 9 months ago and really wanted to surprise her with amazing engagement photographs they could treasure forever (she had wanted to take nice couples photos together forever). So on her birthday he took her out to a really nice dinner and told her that they were going to take engagement photographs in sunny San Diego! They are from Indiana and he had just joined the US Navy, and would be deployed in a few months, so they both flew out here to spend a few precious weeks together before she returned to finish college and he took was deployed. Once we heard their story, and the fact that they would be separated for 8 months or longer before being able to get married we had to take amazing photographs for them to get through this long time apart!

We got to work with the sweetest couple on the planet, Meriah and Jake. The genuine warmth they both have in their hearts for each other radiates out from the moment you meet them.
